Structural Analysis
Huse Engineering PS provides engineering for the design and construction of buildings and other structures including lateral stability issues associated with wind and earthquakes. The analysis is conducted to assure compliance with provisions of the San Juan County Building Code. The structure’s components can be steel, reinforced concrete or more commonly timber.
Foundation Design
The design of foundations is dependent on the soils present at the building site. All structures require a site specific analysis for the design and construction of any structure’s foundation. Huse Engineering PS has experience in design of foundations for structures ranging from heavy industrial buildings to light framed commercial and residential buildings.
Hydraulic Structures
Structures such as small bridges, large culverts and low dams also require analysis and design for the structures. Foundation design for these structures is especially important. Low dams are permitted by the State in addition to San Juan County.
